Item: Label, mailing, w/adhesive back

Number: EC – 0000157A

Description: This is an early example of a Kemper mailing label. The return address contains no zip code or zone and dates to around the 1940’s. Such labels were widely used to send official mail from the school in folders and by cadets to mail packages home. From time to time, cadets who were considered at risk of going AWOL were required to return their personal clothing and this label was used for addressing such packages.
